看了托福备考手册，其中有几个对话和短语的意思拿不准，向诸位请教一下。
1 . I couldn't get to a phone
2 . drop off to sleep

Well, look who's talking. （后一句）
5 . Some of the younger students seemed quite aggressive (有闯劲) in the meeting.
Yes, they really took over when it came to the issue of voting rights.(主要是后一句的意思)
6 . I didn't write that memo to the department chair to amuse myself.
7 . When does your new sofa arrive? Any day now.
8 . Ted,would you be interested in serving on the membership committee this year?
Uhm,Can I get back to you on that? (后一句)
9 . be good with
10 . I have to type all these reports by Monday morning.
There goes your sleep this weekend.(后一句)
11 . I thought this shirt was a great deal but I washed it once and it's shrunk so much that I can't wear it.
Some bargain. You should ask for a refund.(后一句+I thought this shirt was a great deal )
12 . We are out of cream and sugar. If you want any coffee,you’ll have to drink it black.

第2个，关于DROP：
drop asleep,睡着，不觉睡去的意思
drop off, 睡着，且如SUNNY所说是慢慢睡着的意思，off连接的短语多有逐渐如何的意思，但是这里drop off to sleep到显得重复了
9，有good with这个用法么？

——M: What’s happening with the library? Aren’t they adding a new
wing?
—— W: The construction crew’s just finishing it up.
What does the woman mean?
一直也没明白这句话到底是什么意思
答案好像是选这个：They need to decide on a schedule. 但是更加不明白了！

答案错了吧？绝对不是这个意思。（也可能是你把对话当中的关键词听错了。）
对话的大意是：
----图书馆怎么变了？他们是不是新增了建筑物的一边？
----建筑队刚刚修完了。

3X。可能是我看错答案了！

这题的答案应该是：The addition will be completed soon。如果我没记错的话。
意思是：M：图书馆怎么了？他们要加盖新的配楼吗？
W：施工队即将完成了！
