Dear Sir or Madam:

My name is----------, an applicant to the ------------ program of your
university. I have already sent all my application materials to you by post.

I am writing to clarify one problem. I just got a message from ETS, saying
that they could not charge my credit card for sending the TOEFL and GRE
reports. However, my credit card works perfectly well with other payments
in my applications. I will check with ETS to find out other alternatives to
have my reports sent to you as soon as possible.

Meanwhile, since the application deadline is approaching, in order to save
time, could you please refer to my photocopies of TOEFL and GRE scores
reports first for your consideration of admission? Sorry for any
inconvenience it may incure.
