My test - a bit improvement 30 Dec

Dec 30 2002, 6** (verbal 2*, math 5*). A bit improvement compares to that of my last test in Sept. even though I am a bit disappointed I still treat myself a big dinner because I know it is my best performance at present stage.

Math is not difficult, almost all those relative difficult problem are JJ. I finished it 10 minutes early. However, I still get one or two wrongly. I am not sure which one or two. Anyway to get a 50 in Math should not be a problem for XDJM if you have an engineering/science background. It is very important to understand the method that employed in solving the problems and the best way is to solve it by your own. One month JJ is enough.

I failed my verbal part, especially the reading sections. I have not confident at all with almost all question in reading part. The passage is not difficult to understand but I can’t tell which one is the best one… What a shame! I thought I have a good reading skills??!!!… However, This time I felt more comfortable with SC part. I believe my slight improvement is all from SC. The OG is the good material. I failed this time mainly due to, In the first place, my poor actual reading skills, especially the GMAT required reading skills, even though I am not sure what exactly it is. To improve this part, I have to put a lot more effort to practice, summarize and improve. In the second, the RC is becoming more and more difficult comparing to that of Sep and the paper real tests. Last but not the least, my nervous dragged my legs. Remember, relax is also a important to get a good score.

I will not re-take the test since the scholarship is not a must, the score is more or less enough for my application. The most important thing is to write impressive essay.

The “ Gan Xiang” section is my favorite part in GR. I like to read them whenever I can squeeze some time from my busy work. You guys and girls always encourage me. Thank you all for your words and best wishes for whatever you undertake.
