Today got the official score report. AWA 5, not very high, but considering only
study AWA for one day, I'm quite satisfied with this score. Again, template is
the most important thing.
AI: “Public buildings reveal much about the attitudes and values of the society
that builds them. Today’s new schools, courthouses, airports, and libraries, for
example, reflect the attitudes and values of today’s society.”
AA: The following appeared in an article in a consumer-products magazine.
“Two of today’s best-selling brands of full-strength prescription medication for
the relief of excess stomach acid, Acid-Ease and Pepticaid, are now available in
milder nonprescription forms. Doctors have written 76 million more prescriptions
for full-strength Acid-Ease than for full-strength Pepticaid. So people who need
an effective but milder nonprescription medication for the relief of excess
stomach acid should choose Acid-Ease.”
CR:
1. Doctor said the patient should not take one medicine because the side-effect
is unknown. The patient refuted that doctors' suggestion is not logical because
the doctor previously recommend some medicine with serious side-effect. Ask
what's the logical flaw in the patients' refutal.
2. The one with whale and salted water.
3. The one with the falling tree branch on the car in the autumn and in the
winter.
RC:
1. The one about the company's \\"activity-driven\\" strategy.
These are all I can remember for the verbal part, plus the previously posted
math part, this should conclude my GMAT journey. Of course, I will try to come
back often to help people out. Good luck to all of you guys.
