回這位網友的以下問題: 應該選 C 因為GMAT 中只可有 ATTEMPT TO 無 ATTEMPTING TO!!! 常看大陸JJ網受益良多希望從TW來的INFORMATION有幫助!!

Kate (某個著名人物，具體名字我沒印象了，用kate代替啦），　whose love affair with Jack(另外一個著名任務）inspired the creation of Titanic (一本著作），接著是劃線部分
c.was sentenced to (or with) the 10 month prison by the Russian government in attemp to prohibit from writing the antigovernment literature..
d. was sentenced to (or with) the 10 month prison by the Russian government in its attempting to prohibit from writing the antigovernment literature.
其他的答案都是明顯錯誤，不是run-on 就是dangling，只有這兩個選項一眼看上去分辨不出來不過我也無法確定自己是否正確．
