早上8点我们一行五人于北区后门口集合，轻轨换地铁，9点顺利赶到梅隆镇。那时门口 已经没人排队了。入口 在江宁路上。进入签证大厅领签证号，151号。很快就被叫到三号窗口去交材料(三份ds 表格，护照，收据， i-20)，只要交一次就可以了，我以前一直以为要交好几次呢。1－3号窗口都是负责收材 料的。接下来就是漫长 的等待。在等待的过程中，我换了好几次位置，把每个vo都细细地观察了一番。首先是 9号窗口的大glassboy( 我称他为大glassboy,因为后来又来了一个glassboy,好像比这个要小一点)。此人态度极 差，在他手下签探亲的 好像没一个过的，如果问他为什么，他就会嘲你嚷嚷，当下心里就开始有点发慌了。后 来有一队人可能是商务 或旅游的，都在他手下过了。接下来5号窗口的yymm。比传说中的难看多了，给人的感觉 是又黑又老(会不会被 打啊)。她的工作效率特别低，经常离开窗口，经常趴在那写很长时间的字，不知道搞什 么明堂。不过态度还不 错，不怎么笑，也不凶。在她窗口前坐了挺长时间，没签几个人，有过的，有不过的， 都不是F1。6号窗口的 jfmm，也就是后来面我的人。非常漂亮，也不像有人说的老。态度很好，一直在笑。即 使拒人的时候也满脸堆 笑。大约十一点的时候4号窗口开了，就是那个小glassboy。那时已经快轮到我了，所以 没有细看。自从进了大 厅，就得不停地关注vo前面屏幕上的号码。我研究了两个小时，还是没有搞清楚他们叫 号有什么规律。不过基 本上还是从小到大排的(+-50的误差)。11点零5分左右，看到jfmm手里拿的表格上的照片 特别像我，心跳立时加 速，一看号码，果然是我，毅然走上前去。 me: good morning, madam jf: good morning. how are you? me: fine, thank you. and you? jf: fine.$^&&*%&? me: pardon? (心想不妙，怎么一上来就没听清楚) jf: what are you going to do in the USA? me: I am going to study for my phd degree at university of wisconsin jf: So why do you choose to study statistics at a US en.. university of wisc onsin me: because unversity of wisconsin is one of the best universities in the wo rld and..被打断 jf: what do you study at fudan university?(好像pardon过一次) me: mathematics jf: so you haven't graduated form fudan university me: no jf: when will you graduate? me: this summer 这时不知道出什么问题了，jf对这个问题的回答很不满意，又问了一遍，而且很长，没 听清楚。但里面不仅出 现了fudan,还出现了wisconsin。我想是不是我前面听错了，或者我根本就不是这么回答 的。 me: i will go to wisconsin this summer and graduate in 2008.. jf(不耐烦了)：my question is when will you graduate from fudan me(ft 还是这个问题啊): this summer jf: which month me: june jf(又开始笑了): who will pay your fee in the usa? me: I have been awarded a tuition waiver and a teaching assistance. jf: have you applied any chinese universities? me: no jf: why not? me: Because i want to become a researcher in a chinese university. a phd deg ree in the US will help me greatly to fulfill my goal. jf: which aspect of statistics will you focus on? me: %^&$ jf: can you say something about it? me: ok. blablabla......中间停顿了一次，还犯了一个错误。不过jf还是很认真的听完 了，虽然她接下来什么 也没问。 jf: if it would be much easier for you to find a position in a US institutio n than in a chinese institution. Will you come back? me: yes, of course. In fact it will be very easy for me to find a job in a c hinese university because china is in great need of people who major in my area(这句话没有根据 )。 jf: ok, please go to window 11 to get your visa. me: thank you very much. have a nice day. jf: *&^*$&^$% 没听懂，不理:) 整个过程多少时间我也不清楚，感觉就那么一会。jf还是很友好的，就是说话声音太轻 。一开始她就在我的 ds156上写字，到最后两个问题时才写完把材料整理好放在那里。那是应该已经决定放我 了。除了交掉的材料以 外我带的其他东东什么也没用上。不过还是带着放心。 今天说英文的不多，也不知道那些是f1。所有的vo中，大glassboy给我的感觉最差，不 过f1不用担心，他拒的 大多是探亲。 感谢torlin 和 ditto 帮我interview。感谢今天陪我同去的几位朋友，让你们在外面等 了那么长时间，真不好 意思。祝所有的飞友都1000过^_^。 MicroEdu.com 微迪留学 版权所有 © 1999-2003 webmaster@microedu.com |
