郁闷的被据(5.16早，8：00， 20号)

今天签证情况
早上6：00就起来，清华南门打车到大使馆签证处，大约7:10左右把
我是20号，当时看见的签证人群中F-1不多
认识了一个武汉来签的医学系mm和一个清华经管的jj,就是前面的Iran吧
进去交I-20, forms and receipt fee
得到金黄色小牌
在大胡子手下签
排在我们一队的有3个去夏令营的小孩子高中生
还有4个F-1,都是女生，此外还有一队去参加儿子毕业典礼的教师夫妇。
左边一队是红色牌子，那个窗口一开始都是大tt,后来换成了jfmm
虽然我的号比较靠前
但是大胡子是最后一个叫我的，不知道为什么，站着等待真的很烦
先放了三个小孩子，不过是查了很长时间的电脑后
然后放了那对老夫妇，可能道理充足（参加完毕业典礼后一起回国，在国内生活工作稳
定）
我们几个F-1都很兴奋
可接下来就很惨
先签的一个是去Austin的jj, 说回国计划不够具体，其实我觉得已经很不错了
但是他说no contract..sigh 哪个单位可能这么早就签合同呢，还是5年后。。
后来两个F-1的女生也先后被据
都很有风度的问了胡子advice,
问的问题都差不多
很显然，就集中在归国计划上
说的话都一样，
I'm sorry I can not issue you the visa today because you are not qualified
for
it.
同时我看见了左边的窗口jfmm神速的了结了武汉的mm,去Austin的Tsinghua JJ 和北大去
OSU的11号gg
右边窗口情况，spls在签，据了前面的两起探亲，F-2，费了好大劲让一个北大的jj携行
带了一个F-2的gg过了
后来据掉了Clemson的一个女生，NUS回来的？一个女生，都是F-1吧
最后是我了，因为我和大家不一样，签SSP的一年master, 在美国读完first quarter还
是要回新加坡读剩下courses的。所以不存在什么归国计划问题，准备的也不错，本来以
为没什么漏洞了。
结果还是栽在那破I-20上。
Me: Good Morning , Sir. ( And insert the Card)
Vo: Thank you for the card and how are you?
Me: Fine, thank you.
Vo: What will you study in U.S?
Me: I'll study in the first quarter of SSP program in Stanford University,
do
you want to see the homepage of it?
Vo: You can introduce it for me.
Me: SSP is a joint program betweem ...............
And it commences on xxx, the first quarter will be in Stanford University,
We will leave U.S on...
Vo: So how do you know it?
Me: It gave a presentation in Beijing last November, and I was interviewed
by
one of the professors from Stanford. From that presentation, I
know ...................
So I think it best suits me.
I got the scholarship and these are the offer letter and supporting letters
from Stanford .(Insert them)
Vo has a quick view and put them aside.
Vo: So can I see your Gre and TOEFL scoresheets?
Me: sure. (and give them )
Vo: But in your I-20 form, you should provide your financial certificate of
the fee in Stanford.
Me: You see, this is a clerical error made by Stanford staff. You can check
in the Sevis system
and I asked the school to enter the right information. These are the emails
from them to correct the error.
Vo 搞了半天电脑，又出去谈了半天话，让我wait and wait.
then 跑回来说， I'm sorry, But from the I-20 form , you should....
Me: I receive the full scholarship which will cover all the expenses, you ca
n look at the supporting letters and they are all official.
Vo扫了一眼还是摇头说不行
Me: 10 days ago one of my future classmates got checked here because of this
problem.
And the Stanford University faxed the right information to you. So can you
contact the Stanford University and all will be clear.
Vo: Sorry but based on your current documents, they can not demonstrate you
got a scholarship.so I can't issue you the offer.
我急了说computer 里面有正确的information，and can contact school.
Can you keep the documents and check them?
Vo直接说我违反了emmigration rule 然后把护照盖了个章推回来，
我说I from Tsinghua and very hard to get out to apply again. 而且学校６月底要
开学没时间了,把护照推回去
vo不高兴了，说I cannot help you. I will give you a piece of paper which will
explain why you can't get the visa.
然后我大声说，　you cannot reject me because of clerical error.And it is an
error , contact the university and you can know the right information.
vo怒了说over,next
后来保安上来了，说已经结束了回去吧
我也没办法了，只好问他if I apply again with the renewed I-20 form, can you
issue me the visa?
他说，We will consider it but cannot promise you will get it.
最后特别没有风度的不说再见就气急败坏跑了
总之运气太坏，而且他们似乎不相信Sevis就相信I-20
教训阿，大家I-20上的毛病、问题千万别被抓住
本来他就是在找借口据你了，为了这个更冤枉。
另外别穿太多，别东张西望左看右看，我怀疑我这也给他留了不好的印象，因为一直在
环顾四周:P...
今天说得很多，前面比较平缓，等他查完材料讨论完说不能给我的时候因为没有思想准
备就急了，
后面语速都太快，而且not very persuasive, sigh.　本来以为改了sevis就可以了
我总感觉北京的vo就是在找借口据F-1
除了我其他人都是死在归国plan上
而我这个至少可以得到check的
同样的项目同样的问题，在上海的复旦交大浙大签的jjmm们都拿到visa了，而且基本没
问东西，sigh.
给Stanford主管的那个staff打了语音电话，发了n封email催new I-20
给家里打了电话，他们很平静似乎料到了，因为北京形势太差！
也买了签证费，下次再战，不相信签不过！

本来如果签过了要谢很多很多关心我帮助我的人，
现在没签过只好心里感激了
下次签过了一并感谢了
今天有点不错，我觉得我根本不怕vo,但是也没把他当成friend慢慢解释
可能这就是失败原因吧
