My parents got visas---03/14/2003

My parents got visas Friday. It is really difficult to get a visa this
week. But they were lucky. Both my parents and I got a lot of help from
gter.net, so I wrote down their experiennce to thank you all who help us.
Questions 1:
Why you plan to go to USA?
Answer: My daughter invites us to go to American. She says America is very
beautiful and American people very kind. ( Find the invited letter )
Visa officer laughed.
Q 2: About my parents job and salary.
A 2: RMB 1978 yuan. ( Do answer it excatly, and find the bank account and
other bank certifications or other real estate certifications. VO like to
see it sometime. )
Q 3: How many children do you have?
A 3: Two. My daughter went to US with her husband and my son works in
Shanghai.
Q 4: Do you have any pfotoes?
Vo then looked at pictures and asked which one is their son-in -law and
which one is son and others. We took those picture in 1999 January, a long
time ago, but it works.
Less then 10% got visa this Friday 2003-03-14. But lots of people got visa
last Friday. My parents stayed in Beijing a whole week frrom 03-09 to 03-
14. They find a lot of information.

First, do not try to cheat. Just before my parents got visa there are 2
people: mother and her adult daughter. Mother got visa already. But several
minutes later, when daughter stood before the same VO, the VO find them use
the same information. He is so angry and cancel the mother's visa. But my
friend's parents ant parents-in law got visas on differents days, using the
same IAP-66.

Second, do not show your angry directly to VO. A father shouted to the VO
who denied his visa : " Damn it, I had beaten you in the Keroen War . You
loser." The VO wa so angry that he wrote down on the father's passport:
THIS MAN NEVER ALLOW TO GO TO USA.

Third, worship before you step into Visa office. We go to the famous temple
in my hometown and Yonghegong in Beijing.
