Community colleges, formerly known as junior colleges, are 2-year higher education institutions that provide postsecondary courses leading to certificate and associate degree as a pathway to a four-year degree. Below is a list of all community colleges in the state of New Jersey. For each college, you will see the name of current president, website URL,  street address, phone number, postal code and city location.  See Countryaah.com for the list of all cities and towns in New Jersey.

New Jersey is home to 19 community colleges, each offering a wide variety of educational programs. These schools provide students with the opportunity to pursue an associate degree or certificate in a range of fields, including business, health care, engineering and more. Community colleges are also a great option for students looking to transfer credits to a four-year college or university.

The New Jersey Community College System (NJCCS) is made up of two state-funded institutions: the County College of Morris and Rowan College at Burlington County. The remaining 17 community colleges are organized into three regional divisions: North, Central and South. Each division offers its own unique set of courses and programs that are tailored to meet the needs of its respective community.

Most community colleges in New Jersey offer both traditional classroom-based courses as well as online learning options for those who prefer more flexible scheduling options. The majority of these institutions also have multiple campuses located throughout the state which allows students to take classes closer to home if needed.

In addition to providing quality academic programs, New Jersey’s community colleges also offer numerous student services such as career counseling, tutoring assistance and academic advising services which help ensure each student has the resources they need to succeed in their studies. Additionally many schools provide extracurricular activities such as clubs and organizations which give students an opportunity for personal growth outside the classroom setting while also giving them access to additional resources from faculty members and other students alike.

All in all, New Jersey’s community college system is an ideal learning environment for anyone looking forward towards a bright future! Whether you’re interested in pursuing an associate degree or certificate program – there is sure to be something available that meets your needs!
